It’s raining, it’s pouring,
The old man is snoring…
Two things I miss about San Francisco are the fog and the rain!
The past twenty-four hours in Los Angeles have been filled with both.
It makes me feel happy and calm. At peace.

i was just saying the same thing about oregon – i didn’t realize until it woke me up in the middle of the night that i miss rain storms! i also remembered why i’ve never had fancy shoes. 😉
Tell me about it! It’s been raining here all week too! There’s nothing better than sitting in a window of a coffee shop, with a hot cup of coffee, cozy jacket and a good book, and gazing out at the rain. Nonetheless, something about walking around in it makes me wonder how I ever lasted 5 years in Salem and Seattle. My only saving grace is the 4-5 FEET of snow that has ALREADY blanketed Alta Ski Resort. Yahoo!
Yay! Ski season is here…

But i thought the world came to a dead stop when it even sprinkled in la?
also, i have a question for you:
a friend of mine just relocated to LA and is having a crappy time trying to score a groovy living situation. How did you do it? What would you advise someone to do now that you’ve been through it?

Yes, I noticed people got a little weirded out by these strange droplets of water falling from the sky. Haha.
No people stayed surprisingly sane. But the traffic was worse, so I stayed clear of the freeways!
I sent you an e-mail about LA housing…
