This past weekend, the boy and I went to [URL=http://www.sixflags.com/magicMountain/index.aspx]Magic Mountain[/url] to celebrate one full year of our dating…
It was rad. And thrilling. And relaxing. And silly. And playful. And wonderful.
We decided to get tickets for Saturday ahead of time because you get a web discount. Yeehaw!
And we also got Flash Passes which enable you to jump to the head of the line on 4 rides of your choice. Totally worth the extra bit of cash!
The best ride was the newest, called Tatsu, where you sit down, buckle in, and then they pull you up so that you’re riding face first around the track; belly, head & feet exposed. I love thrill rides and always find them more fun than scary ~ but this one was thrillingly scary. I think I spent half the ride muttering, “Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh”. I wish we could’ve done it over and over. (But the line w/o Flash pass was 3 hours!) After our ride on Tatsu, we looked at the photo they took and it was so priceless, we had to buy it! I will try to scan in it and post it here. It’s hilarious, and quite the unique anniversary photo…
We agreed after spending 8 hours in the park, that we were that best kind of tired, like the tired you are after fabulous vacation. It was a happy anniversary!

OMG, when I saw the picture from Tatsu that you *did* post, I was wondering what in goodness’s name that ride did to you and the boy because you look really different. Then I realized it wasn’t you.
Couple questions:
#1: How on earth did you wear flip flops and a cute blue SKIRT on the rides??? Especially Tatsu? Did you flash everyone below???
#2: Why’s that girl looking at you guys so strange in the last picture? I think she’s jealous of your cute boyf. Or, perhaps your cute skirt.
