re-cap

Well, it’s been a whirlwind. And it’s not over yet. Tomorrow I head back to Chi-town (that’s Chicago) for 2 weeks. Yep – 2 weeks for work. Sigh.

So, since I owe y’all lots of stories, I’ll quickly re-cap the last 2 weeks…

*Audition for “Speed-the-Plow”: went great, felt good, had fun, got called back to read for the director, felt good again, so this was all a huge success.

*Had an open house for work: at a fun venue, danced in the movement demos, let loose with my friends and RJ, fun times, crazy pictures.

*Audition for “Importance Of…”: felt ok, long drive to Orange County, old-school director, realized during the audition that I don’t really like that play very much, drove back to LA, probably didn’t get called back, don’t mind.

*Flew to NYC: introduced new curriculums, helped coordinate demos, facilitated a teacher meeting, hung out with Lindsey twice!, saw Mike Chmiel, had fun, lost sleep, forgot to take pictures.

*Southern California is on fire, literally: Called Liz to be sure she and her house were ok down in San Diego, she and Ricky (and dog) are safely staying at her parents’ house in Pasadena, so many people are evacuated, bad air quality, scary, fires make the temperature very hot everywhere.

*Rhiannon & Jeff got engaged: saw a beautiful picture of the ring via email, Congratulations!!!!!

So that’s it in a nut shell. Sorry to be so brief, but life is happening and I can’t seem to keep up with it on my blog.

Big love
