I have a solution for your photo problems.
While i can’t suss out what’s wrong with the permissions, it appears to be a windows IIS issue that’s beyond me or my sphere of knowledge, i can point you in the direction of Flickr.
go over to flickr.com and sign up for a free account. you can use 10megs a month of bandwidth, and link the images right here in your posts.
