This is the first installment of what is now to be known as “thursday random shuffle”. This has been blantantly (although with permission) stolen from my friend Robert’s site, who saves his until Friday. (Yes, I realize today is Friday, but I’m a day late, ok!?)

Thoughts on this mix:
I seem like a pretty cool girl until you suddenly get to #7. But it’s a bubblegum, pop song and sometimes that’s what I’m in the mood for, so there! Poor Britney.

Today’s favorite songs: Let Him Fly & O-o-h Child. All about letting go and looking out to the future…

Today’s least favorite song: Lucky (and not just ’cause I’m embarrassed.)

Emotional response: This mix had a wistful feel. All of these songs actually take me back to different times from my past. It’s amazing how music lives in our muscles and recalls such specific memories.
