During his bath last night, Jack had his first real laughs whenever I squirted him with water from the rubber ducky…
I don’t know who was more delighted, him or me!

We tried to take a silly family photo for the holidays. We found a Santa pet costume and decided to make Marceau the cat wear one in our portrait. As expected, he resisted. We tried very hard to make it work several times, but this is what we ended up with…
We’re going to try again after Marceau has had some time to forget the trauma of it all…

This is lululemon’s January ad, which I think is funny…
I also *love* it because, just like Obama, yoga is all about taking action for change…
Anything is possible, but you can’t sit back and expect someone else to do it – you’ve got to act. Action brings progress and change. We’re all in it together, with a phenomenal leader. Let’s go for it!

There. I said it. And I bet I’m not the only one…
Perhaps it’s an over share, but I find it kind of funny. A yoga class is such a quiet, soft, gentle place and then suddenly I’m doing a downward dog and a silent little fart often sneaks out. It’s simultaneously embarassing and amusing. Then, I hope against hope that there is no odor or the teacher doesn’t come over at that moment to adjust my hips.
But, hey, isn’t that what yoga is all about? Releasing unwanted toxins and finding peace and refreshed energy?
I guess it’s working…
