Finally, after a long and stressful escrow, we’re home…

We are so happy!

Earlier this month, my Mom and I participated in the high-heel-a-thon charity walk to stop domestic abuse and dating violence. We woke up early and got dressed in our corsets, pantaloons and high heels…
We met some of my Mom’s friends to make a team and used the ribbon wands from my wedding to create color and attention…
We called ourselves the “Not Your Grandmother’s Corset Ladies” and our group won the prize for best costumes!
After the walk in my high, high heels, I was happy to take a seat on the sidewalk…
It was a fun morning!

In my private dressing room at the Bethenny show…
Just another day of work. Fun!
Will explain later.

Over Memorial Day weekend I celebrated my annual 29th birthday! {wink}
It was a great birthday, which began with breakfast in bed served by my favorite guy…
How cute is that?
Later in the day we went to an early dinner at one of our favorite restaurants called Osteria la Buca. R introduced me to this restaurant on my birthday last year so we thought it was a good choice. We brought Jack with us, which was fun…
Did you notice that Jack and his Dad are making the same face? I love that picture!
We enjoyed some yummy cocktails, spicy pizza, crispy brussel sprouts and, of course, delicious dessert…
For my birthday, my two guys gave me this pink present…
And inside was a charm necklace by Helen Ficalora that I have been wishing for…
One ‘J’ charm for Jack and one ‘Love’ charm for the three of us…
The next day, we celebrated some more…
Can you see Jack giving my hair a little love-yank?
It feels good to be 29!

On Wednesday morning at 6:30, we awoke to the sounds of happy cooing and babbling. (What, no crying?!)
Not only that, but we found that Jack-boy had escaped from his swaddle blanket and scooched himself to the bottom of his cradle with his feet hanging out of the slats. He looked so pleased with himself. It was quite cute…
Time for a new bed, wouldn’t you say? This little guy needs more room!
