I always loved the cookies my Mom would make at Christmas time. They were the tiny little drop cookies that come out of a cookie press and they are little bites of joy…
I also found out last year that my brother and I eat the cookies the same exact way. And we didn’t know it. We both like to take little tiny bites off the bite sized cookies in order to savor every centimeter of goodness.
So! This year I decided to make my own cookie press bite-sized pieces of joy! I’ll be serving them at my holiday party this weekend.
The first batch was over cooked a little. Not inedible, just a bit crunchy, so I shaved a minute off the cooking time. Still crunchy. They weren’t perfect until the fourth batch, with 4 minutes off the original cooking time.
These batches are going to work today and I am making new, perfectly cooked batches for my party. MMmmm.
Now I must decide whether or not to get a small tree.
GET A SMALL TREE! Trees make you happy!
Though they are extra expensive this year.
Tree! Tree! Just get a little fake one — they are just as fun!
