I got a promotion at work. My new title is: Director of Teacher Management
This title makes me giggle…
And speaking of directors, I am also directing a play. It’s called Goldfish and opens this weekend at the Alliance, where we are doing a 10-minute play festival for the company’s 20th anniversary.
These are the things that have been keeping me so busy.
Congratulations, Ms. Director…
Congrats! “Director” is a great word to have in a title!
Woo hoo! YOu are a DIRECTOR! That is fabulous! And also very cool that you are a director – can’t wait to hear how the play goes…is it a new script? Can I read it somewhere?
congratulations, little ladybird! when does the festival close? is it just this weekend?
Great News! What exactly does that mean you will be doing?
Yeah, it’s cool. I think it’s more responsibility than I’d like, but I guess that’s what happens when you get a promotion, right?
As Director of Teacher Management, I am like Head-Head Teacher. So, all the head teachers at our studios communicate to the corporate office through me. I coordinate scheduling and communicate to our growing teacher population. Oh yeah, and I have to process payroll for all the Southern California studios. (oh, lucky me!)
So if you don’t hear from me, now you know why…(sigh)
