I’m in love.
For five weeks I have spent my wednesday nights learning a new kind of movement…and it’s fantastic!
Sheila Kelley, while working on the film Dancing At The Blue Iguana as an actress, had to learn the art of the striptease for her role and found that it was not only a really great workout, but also unlocked her sexuality in a way that she hadn’t experienced before. So, over the past few years she has developed The S Factor. It’s very similar to dance, just at the slowest, most sensual pace. And it’s about celebrating the female form in all it’s curvaceous glory.
When the music pounds, the base slowly fills me from my toes up through my head. My judgement disappears and I suddenly feel that I am the sexiest damn woman on earth. No make-up, no hair product. Just me, my six-inch platforms, my shorts, a tank top and my very own curves.
If I’m feeling this good in level one, I can’t wait for level two (and three, and four, and five, and six). So far I’ve learned 3 pole tricks (the firefly, the ballerina and the half-pint) and the first part of a routine. Every week I love it more and more and I eagerly wait for wednesday night when I can lose myself in my inherent physical power…
Got pole?
My baby daughter is a beautiful grown woman.
Careful. I am a stroke victum!
