I got a little promotion at work (good!), but unfortunately they haven’t replaced me in my old job (bad).

Yes. You’re right. This results in my having 2 full-time jobs at the moment.

I promise I will return to my normal communicative, thoughtful thank-you-note-writing self when I emerge from under the load of work on my desk.
