my tv debut (kind of)

On or around December 20th you will be able to see me on a very popular television show! Now, don’t get too excited. Here’s the real story…
Yesterday morning my mom and I went to a taping of thre Dr. Phil show. We arrived at 8am, checked in, and sat is a freezing cold holding room for about an hour. They then started calling people’s names to enter the studio. My mom and I were the second people they called and we were greeted by a seater who sat us in the 2nd row. We could hardly believe it. We were gonna see Dr. Phil’s sweat…(ha!) When they finally got the audience seated they escorted the show’s guests in and sat them right in front of us. During the taping, there were many shots of the guests in their seats and Dr. Phil spoke face to face with they teenage guest who happened to be sitting directly in front of me. All the while I was trying to look interested and engaged in the show (which I was!) but because my poor little body was an icicle, I was mostly trying not to visibly shiver.

At the end of the show, they told us the show should air in late December, so I can’t wait to see if I look interested or just plain cold…

The cool thing is that we happened to be on a show where he gave out free stuff to the audience members and it’s true: The audience goes crazy when they hear they’re getting free stuff under their chairs…

Anyway, tune in to Dr. Phil in late December to see my television debut. (uncredited, of course–haha)

  1. good ole doctor phil!

i’d sure like to see him weeping on the floor, drunk, with his pants down around his ankles…

funny our reaction to people who offer solutions to human hassles, isn’t it?
and i often wonder “why” people respond in a similar fashion to my opinions and expression.

take sone ta know one i guess.

    s.

  2. I, for one, would not like to see Dr. Phil weeping on the floor, drunk with his pants at his ankles. Just not a sight that I care to image in my little brain…(smile)

    Kiss,
    *a.
