Jack started daycare yesterday (More on that when I finally get around to updating about the past 8 weeks).
R made a mid-day visit and took these photos, which I feel are worth sharing.

I know that I am dreadfully behind when it comes to blogging and that it’s much more fun when there are photos and happy reports, but that’s not how this Friday feels.
Today I feel like a terrible Mother, it’s too hot for Fall and the main bathroom’s toilet is still running after getting fixed for the third time. Perhaps that toilet needs to be turned into this…

This week was all about sitting up. Jack was so thrilled by his new perspective on life that he often fussed if he ended up playing on his back…
Why, yes, that is a photo of Jack chillin’ in a Walmart shopping cart. Classy.
Jack enjoys most of the foods he has tried so far. His favorites are Apples, Bananas, Sweet Potatoes and Prunes/Apple Combo. He doesn’t particularly love peas, but will sometimes humor us. When he’s really hungry, he’s like a little baby bird…
And then there’s all the drool. Can you see it?

Weight: 17.5 pounds – 41st percentile
Height: 25.25 inches – 6th percentile
Head: 17.72 inches – 77th percentile
We love our happy little shorty.
