place at the table

The fact that nobody who might actually understand this title will read this entry is ok with me! I get it…and it makes me laugh.

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago there was a reunion of sorts. Some of my dearest grad school classmates and I all happened to be in the same city at the same time. So we had dinner at Amanda’s house in Laguna Beach.

Here we are. I give you one guess what we studied…silly actors. But we had such a great time! It seriously felt like no time had passed since we moped through the hallways together. (I say moped because actors take themselves way too seriously. Especially when being scrutinized by a faculty of other artists.)

Though, post graduation, with a few years under our belts, we all seem rather well adjusted, don’t you think?

  1. When I think of “well adjusted,” I *do* think of “trying to eay someone’s foot.”

Hope Chicago is well. Happy Halloween!
