Skiing in France was…heavenly!
I had the most fantastic time in Avoriaz ~~ I didn’t want to come home. The mountains were so vast and the snow neverending. You ride a ski lift up the valley only to find many more valleys beyond in the distance. The pictures I took of the views truly don’t do them justice.
Being the female that I am, I expected to want to explore the towns more; perhaps do a little shopping, but once I felt my skis on the snow I was hooked and skied everyday, all day, except for one afternoon…
I feel like all I did was eat, ski, sleep and repeat it the next day. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Each morning we got up early and got fresh French pastries for breakfast. Lunch was on he slopes and then we had dinner either homemade in our little apartments or out in one of the delicious restaurants. I’ve now eaten enough cheese for a lifetime. I think perhaps my favorite thing, though was my Nutella Crepe with Chantilly Whip Cream one night when it was -14 degress Celcius. Burr!
